Understand the problem

Fresh Mounds Appearing Across Your Yard?

One pile of loose soil is easy to rake flat. But if another mound appears nearby a day or two later, an active gopher may be moving through an underground tunnel system. Repeated activity can damage grass, plant roots, irrigation lines and landscaping.

We look for fresh mounds, assess the active portion of the tunnel system and explain the recommended treatment before work begins.

Because underground activity can shift, follow-up visits may be needed and are quoted separately. Leave the newest signs undisturbed before the inspection so the activity is easier to track.

Seeing squirrels above ground?

Ground squirrels are active above ground during the day, while gophers stay mostly underground and commonly leave crescent-shaped mounds. Use the matching local page when the animal is visible.
