Scratching in Walls or Ceilings? Wildlife Noise Inspections

You can hear something, but you do not know what it is. That is enough reason to contact Brave Guys. Arman's background in pest control and wildlife removal helps him investigate the source before recommending a species-specific service.

Text your name, service address and problem. Online requests are also available below.

Understand the problem

A sound is a clue, not a diagnosis.

Tell us when the noise happens, which room it is closest to and whether you have seen an animal, droppings, damage or an opening. A recording can be useful, but sound alone does not prove that a rat, raccoon or another animal is inside.

Arman checks accessible areas and connects the reported sound with physical evidence. His earlier pest-control work included rodents, cockroaches and bees or wasps inside structures; his California work increasingly specialized in wildlife removal and exclusion. If the source is still unconfirmed, he explains that uncertainty instead of presenting a guess as a finding.

The next step depends on the evidence. It may be a closer look at an accessible attic or crawl space, a removal plan for a confirmed animal, or a discussion of access that falls outside the current inspection. Any additional work and charges require approval.

The plan before the work

What happens next

01

Describe the pattern

Share the location, timing, recording if available and any visible signs without entering an unsafe space.

02

Inspect the evidence

Review relevant accessible areas and entry points, distinguishing confirmed findings from possibilities.

03

Choose the next step

Get an explanation and a price for recommended work. No species-specific treatment is sold on a noise alone.

Pricing without surprises

Know the scope before you approve it.

Estimates are free and most wildlife inspections are free. Snake inspections and dead-animal inspections have separate $175 inspection pricing; any applicable fee is explained before approval.

Common questions

Before your visit

Do I have to know which animal it is?

No. Send your name, service address and a description of what you hear or see. Identifying the likely source is part of the inspection process.

Can you identify the animal from a recording?

A recording may help guide the inspection, but sound alone cannot reliably establish a species or entry point. Physical evidence and access matter.

What if you do not find the source?

Arman explains what was checked, what remains uncertain and any reasonable next step. A hidden or intermittent source cannot always be confirmed during one visit.

Will you cut open a wall?

Opening or restoration work is not automatically part of an inspection. If additional access is needed, its scope and responsibility must be discussed before anything is opened.

1 YEAR

1-Year Brave Guys Exclusion Warranty

We stand behind the entry points we repair.

If an animal breaks through or re-enters through an entry point Brave Guys repaired within one year of completion, we will return, address or remove the animal as necessary, and repair that same entry point again at no additional charge.

Applies only to qualifying exclusion and entry-point closure work performed by Brave Guys, not automatically to every pest-control service. New openings elsewhere and entry points we did not repair are outside this warranty.
