Dead-Animal Inspection & Removal in Greater Los Angeles

A persistent odor beneath the house or inside a structure can be difficult to trace. Brave Guys inspects accessible areas, explains the source and access limits, and quotes removal before the work begins.

Understand the problem

The inspection is source-finding work.

Dead-animal inspection is a paid service even though estimates are free. It covers inspection and efforts to locate the suspected source; it is not a guarantee that every concealed source can be reached or recovered. The condition and location of the remains determine the removal scope.

When accessible and approved, we remove the remains and perform targeted disinfection of the immediate affected area. Additional access, larger cleanup, material replacement or exclusion repairs are discussed separately. Removing the source does not guarantee that odor absorbed into surrounding materials disappears immediately.

Common questions

Before your visit

Is the dead-animal inspection free?

No. Estimates are free, but dead-animal inspection is $175 for the inspection and source-location effort. Removal is a separate service with its price explained before approval.

Can you guarantee that you will find it?

No. Access and concealed construction can limit what can be located or recovered. We explain findings and limitations rather than promise an exact result before inspection.

Does the removal include disinfection?

Targeted disinfection of the immediate affected area is included in the approved removal scope. More extensive cleanup or material replacement is discussed separately.

Can you also close the opening?

Yes, when the entry is identified, accessible and appropriate for exclusion. Repair pricing is separate unless included in the approved proposal, and the space must be clear of live animals first.

1 YEAR

1-Year Brave Guys Exclusion Warranty

We stand behind the entry points we repair.

If an animal breaks through or re-enters through an entry point Brave Guys repaired within one year of completion, we will return, address or remove the animal as necessary, and repair that same entry point again at no additional charge.

Applies only to qualifying exclusion and entry-point closure work performed by Brave Guys, not automatically to every pest-control service. New openings elsewhere and entry points we did not repair are outside this warranty.
